This past week I haven’t been able to post much, and that’s due to my part in launching a new digital games magazine dubbed, ‘FirstLook’.

What sets this magazine apart from the litany of others out there? Well, it’s rather simple actually – you can embed it anywhere. FirstLook is the first professionally written and designed games magazine in the world which can be freely embedded on any website.

Unlike every other games magazine out there, if you like something on FirstLook you can put it on your own website for your mates to read for free without any restrictions.  Cranberry Publishing is trying to democratise games magazines in a way that has never been attempted before.

The first issue is just the beginning however, with a staple of previews for games released in the coming months including Aliens: Colonial Marines, Dead Space 3, Defiance and more. Like any magazine, FirstLook will evolve every issue with new features, digital mechanisms and exciting coverage, and if you have any ideas on how to improve the magazine please leave a comment below.
